We are more than excited to welcome back fan-favorite Chef Eric Adjepong to the Territory menu! Chef Eric is a former member of the Territory team, and was our first city-level Quality Assurance Manager before he was a contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef. With his return to Territory, he brings two delicious meals with him: a Beef Burger with Yassa Onion Jam and a Vegetarian Black Bean Burger with Yassa Onion Jam!

Eric grew up in New York City and is a first-generation Ghanaian-American. His West African roots and the dishes he grew up eating are the main inspiration behind his meals – and the incredible flavors shine through in his meals for Territory. Eric  is passionate about introducing diners to West African cuisine and the impact its diaspora has had on South American, Latin American, Caribbean, and American food, all in his elegant, artfully plated style. 

Get to know Chef Eric Adjepong, his cooking inspiration, and the story behind his Ghanaian inspired burger with a healthy twist:

Eric competed in Bravo’s Top Chef on season 16 where he made it to the finals, and was a contestant on season 17 of Top Chef All Stars. He’ll be on a new Bravo show soon: Eric will be on a new Bravo show this year – Top Chef Amateurs!  Eric has  cooked in several Michelin-starred restaurants in New York after graduating with degrees in Culinary Arts and Nutrition from Johnson & Wales, one of the country’s premiere culinary universities. He also holds a Master of Public Health in International Public Health Nutrition from the University of Westminster in London. It was also just announced that Eric Adjepong is writing not one – but two new books!
