We work with local chefs to create and sell fresh food for intentional eaters within the DC, LA, SF and DFW metropolitan cities. We are seeking more passionate individuals to join our Los Angeles Culinary Team.
About the Role
Employee will be part of a team responsible for plating cooked, cooled, ingredients into meals and other product skus, 2-4 days a week. Starting first on Tuesday and Saturday. Other responsibilities will include, set up, clean up and packing totes.
Coordinate with other team members, lead by team lead, to set up plating stations and break down/clean plating stations.
Understand, read and verify plating instructions. Including portioning of ingredients and placement on plate. Executed with precision.
Use of respective equipment i.e tare scale, scoopers, spoonula, and any other equipment needed to perform functions.
Stock/staging of inventory for daily plating. May require lifting heavy cambro’s full of food and entering walk-in/freezer multiple times.
Building of delivery totes. Which includes placing meals inside delivery totes and wheeling totes into cold storage.
Perform any other essential job functions and duties as assigned by leader.
Comply with company standards, policies, and procedures, and assist in assuring the same from fellow employees.
Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to: GMP’s, Quality, Sanitation & Safety. Valid food handlers card is required.
Regular exposure to cold environments; including refrigerators and freezers.
Lifting required up to 50lbs. Carrying 20-50 lbs.
